Lion Gordon, a Charter Member of
our club, has held an active position within the
club every year since formation.
He has been and still is a close
advisor and mentor to new members taking a position
in the club.
14 years on Membership and our
club is one of the strongest in our district
Following the Whyalla Gift the
committee asked Gordon to head up a foundation
committee to assist youth in their chosen sport.
This foundation has grown to the extend where it is
now the major source of funds for assistance.
Whether it be BBQ hire, cooking chips, football
gates etc, Lion Gordon leads from the front and is a
great example for all of us.
